With the Super Bowl still fresh in everyone’s mind (Sorry Rohan), I thought it would be a fun question to ask if you would rather be Eli Manning or Tom Brady. I’m sure everyone knows who they are so I’ll add some quick notes to think about:
Be Eli Manning: You just won the Super Bowl and named the Most Valuable Player. You have now won two Super Bowls (one more than your brother) and you are one of the most famous people in Sports right now. You’re probably considered an elite quarterback in the league and you’re coming off the best season in your career. You are a Tom Brady Assassin.
Be Tom Brady: You’re Tom Brady — what else do I need to say? You’re married to Gisele Bündchen and one of the best quarterbacks of all time. You’ve won 3 Super Bowls, 2 Super Bowl MVPs, 7 Pro Bowls, 2 NFL MVPs and you look like Tom Brady. You somehow manage to take whatever scrub squad of people that the Patriots assemble and make them look like superstars. You are “as cool as the underside of the pillow” and as good as it gets.
Do you think it’s easy being Jeremy Lin and the new starting point guard for the New York Knicks? It’s a lot harder than you may think. Check out this video entitled ‘A Day in the Life’ made by Jeremy Lin a few months ago while was still a member of the Golden State Warriors. These NBA players go through intense practice sessions and there’s so much more that goes on that allows them to perform at the level we see every night.
Jeremy Lin’s Day
I don’t think it’s possible to explain Social Media any better than this.
Just in time for Super Bowl XLVI (New York Giants vs. New England Patriots), I thought I’d post this great video that a friend of mine found showing off New York Giants highlights from the 2011 2012 NFL season. I think this highlight video is done really well and the song choice is perfect. We all know that the New York Giants RUN THIS TOWN and are going to destroy the New England Patriots tomorrow in Super Bowl XLVI!
Go Back in Time Once: You can use this ability at any point in your life. You can’t take anything with you and all you have is whatever you can memorize at that point. You can pick any time of your life to go back to.
Ability to Turn Invisible: You are essentially The Invisible Woman and can turn yourself invisible at any time. Only your body is invisible and anything you hold or touch (your clothes, bags of money from a bank, etc.) is not invisible.
UPDATE: There has been some confusion on the “Go Back in Time Once” part. When you choose this option, you will pick a moment in your life that you want to relive (high school, college, the SAT, old relationship, etc.) Once you select that time, you are transported back to that exact moment that you decide on. You will remember everything that you know at that exact moment but you will be in the chosen time. You do not go back and forth through time — you are simply reliving your life from that moment with what you know now (a do over). Let me know if you have any additional questions about this Would You Rather and choose wisely!
